Max is passionate about relationships, community building, & the intersection of faith & identity.
... Before coming to St. Louis, Max served as a Student Pastor for Princeton Presbyterians, a campus ministry to the Princeton area. They have previously served as Student Minister for Contextual Exploration, Community Engagement, and LGBTQ Belonging at Maryland Presbyterian Church in the Baltimore, a Student Pastor for LGBTQ Fellowship at Broad Street Ministry in Philadelphia and Brick Presbyterian Church in the City of New York. Before that Max was a grant writer and New Worshiping Community founder/facilitator with United Campus Ministry at the University of Arkansas. Max completed their Masters of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary in May 2019. They are fascinated by the creativity and diversity of God’s people and are eager to meet students, gather for worship and dinner, and to discuss the impact of faith on identity. They are excited to serve as a Pastor in the Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery and Campus Minister for UKirk St. Louis. |
